St. Michael Cemetery News Updates
4/15/03.
New Options.
In September
of 2002 St. Michael Cemetery made a number of exciting changes.
The first of which was offering families the option of a graveside
service or their choice of chapels at no additional fee. As well
as these options we are now able to offer families the option
of tents and "way" services through their Funeral
Director.
Sign
Improvements.
This past
year we have begun installing new section signs in the oldest
part of the cemetery. These small blue and white signs can be
found at the end of each row closest to the roadway. We plan to
continue installing new signs throughout the cemetery this spring.
In addition, 4 new bulletin board centers have arrived will be
installed at key locations for the posting of cemetery information
and updates.

new graves were added to Sections D and FF. In addition a recent

Spring
Cleanup.
As
you are well aware this has been a very difficult winter. We had
a very wet fall that quickly turned into winter and limited our
ability to to complete the leaf removal. The snow came early and
heavy, which has delayed our after Christmas
cleanup as well. We have begun the spring cemetery cleanup. The
repair of graves from winter burials has begun and we are making
good progress. We appreciate your patience as we catch up and
get the grounds ready for Memorial Weekend.
